This item on eBay closes in a couple of hours and is already past what I would pay (since I don't collect this area), but I still think it's really neat.
That is a nice Wiener medal, and in the original box--very cool! I agree though, I sold my one and only 'architectural' type medal so I have no excuse to buy it when there are so many other things out there that I do -- officially-- collect . Very tempting...must resist!
After failing to purchase the beautiful medal in this thread as well as two others (Geez, you folks have deep pockets!), I gave up and went for one of the architectural Conder tokens. Only 38mm, 4mm thick, but quite detailed.
This is an old thread but I'm old so I learn slowly!
It wasn't until I picked up a few medals (and their reference books) that this Conder seemed so out of place and time. There are quite a few "tokens" in Dalton & Hamer which were struck as medals during the 1790's and are in Brown's British Historical Medals. But Warwickshire 38a signed by W. Wyon is unlikely to have been produced during the Conder era, (Heck, Wyon wasn't even born until 1795). Taylor includes it in his book on 19th century architectural medals with the notation "?1820s-1840s" but it doesn't appear in Brown at all. Oh well.

The final price was probably fair, I believe this is the first Wiener York medal I have seen on eBay.
The Cologne Synagogue Wiener medal just sold for $370+ over an estimate of $200-250 in the lastest Stacks Coin Galleries sale - without a picture.
