He probably still has an Ebay store up and running. You need to send your paypal payments to

I just say that because I have recently had a problem with someone and provided more than enough information not only to ebay, but to SquareTrade. Each group sent back a response acknowledging that the evidence was compelling but that for anything to happen I would have to contact my local law enforcement. In addition, ebay sent me a nice note that stated that ebay is really there to provide a forum for buying and selling, not so much policing.

They only police if they stand to lose money. They are much more worried about 'choice listings' than people actually getting ripped off for hundreds of $$.

And if you contact them they will ask 'how did you get this #?' if you aren't a power seller.

I hope google comes on strong and provides an alternative.

Someone wanted to know about the word "pokey" for prison. It was actually the word "Pogey" for prison or a prison cell. We as americans slang everything. Pogey became pokey.

    This is definitely true.

I think Ebay is really setting themselves up for a massive lawsuit and criminal charges. Look at their advertising - they semi-imply that Ebay is a store you can buy stuff from, rather than a market for OTHERS to sell on. Yet when the subject of policing comes, they claim to just provide a forum. Somebody, somewhere, is going to find a lawyer willing to challenge that - and could make a fortune as a result.

    We'll see...

  • I think you guys are being a bit harsh on ebay. I'm willing to bet that after sentencing they revoked his Power Seller status.

Unfortunately his back side will not reap the neccessary punishment his crime deserves.

F- federal prison, stick him in general population at one of our nations finest prisons and let the rumor spread he was a kiddie toucher. That will fix his a$$ ( pun completely intended )

There are not many country-club type prisons any more. With the current drug laws, the federal prisons are getting full and nasty. If one is convicted of combined gun/drug law crimes, they are looking at 20+ years. If a con has two priors including one with violence or a gun, then 5g of crack cocaine will get him 20+ years. That is serious time for a little bit of dope. Also, the feds are picking up local cases. A state will withdraw charges and let the feds prosecute.

Lots of bad guys in a little space.
