Scanning PSA Graded cards?

I have a pretty good scanner, and usually scan raw cards at 600 DPI and they look very nice. What's the best way to scan a PSA card? The holder sometimes does not allow the card to show up completely focused - Is there a method to insure it is scanned in better?

Saves you the trouble of shutting off the lights.

Great, now I have to re-scan all of my cards again... lol.
i use black construction paper behind the cards...with the lights on and the lid up.
Thanks,
