Scanning PSA Graded cards?

I have a pretty good scanner, and usually scan raw cards at 600 DPI and they look very nice. What's the best way to scan a PSA card? The holder sometimes does not allow the card to show up completely focused - Is there a method to insure it is scanned in better?

  • Thanks, that seems to have helped a bit.
  • I scan using 300 dpi also my scaner has CCD (Charge Couple Device) which provides quality resolution. Here's a example of a scan.

  • I use a piece of black velet as a back drop over the card!!

Saves you the trouble of shutting off the lights.
