I had a Maris with a very similar G [it is actually the same 1962 Topps card as pictured above]. And it was certified by JSA -- I can't post the pic, as it is too large, but can send it if someone wants it.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Bought the auto 25 years ago, I might as well take it to PSA/DNA.

I would have to vote fake. Sorry.

It's ok, it's not mine. I could care less. Thanks for the info.

By the way Gonblott, is that an 8x10 of Maris that you have? That looks awesome, I would love to have a signed photo of Maris - I can't quite afford one though :-( Also, Stingray, is that your Maris signed card? Beautiful signature - I really like how he dotted his 'i".

    Thanks,

If it's a fake its a good one. No hesitation in the pen strokes anywhere on that auto. Fluid and free. I think its real.

No Air, I cropped the picture so you can see the auto better. The photo is on a plaque.

I got this from him directly at a Yankee game. It's old and I managed to resue it from my parent's house a few years ago but it's real. It's faded but I think it shows that people don't alwats sign their name exactly the same way and I would not presume to be any kind of expert and even offer an opinion.

Not sure to either bring my Maris auto to JSA or PSA DNA, will prob end up doing both.

The last post has a pic of my Maris auto.
