    Ouch...

Told y'all it was going to be an interesting off-season image
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
  • The Ravens did not have to give up much. I am sure McGahee is happy...330 touches
  • good - willis can take his one leg and his sorry act out of town and no one here will miss him...

I heard that the fans weren't thrilled with him up there. What was his biggest problem?
  • In a recent interview with Penthouse magazine, McGahee said the NFL should be in Toronto and suggested that the Bills move there. His reasons included the lack of things to do in Buffalo. (Long story short)

Those dumb comments in January, along with his multiple paternity suits and the fact the he will be holding out for a new deal this year (he and Rosenhaus have already said he'll sit out camp without an extension) sealed his fate here in Buffalo.

The draft day fiasco (fake calls from Rosenhaus, etc.), the fact he plays hard every third game or so, and his attituded combined to ensure he was never going to endear himself to local fans anyway. I'm actuall surprised the Bills got so much for him, since they were actively shopping him and have brought in multiple free-agent RBs over the last week...

Running backs have become so interchangable it's ridiculous. Not many are worth the money they get on the open market...

I would imagine that Buffalo is not the most exciting city to live in and Toronto with a much larger population
base would seem to make sense economically but I believe that the NFL and the CFL have an agreement
to stay out of each others markets. A lot of Canadians do watch the NFL on TV.

What are the Bills going to do about their RB situation? This seems like a setback for them, just when Losman was starting to look decent, and Lee Evans is starting to become a top AFC WR.

Well, if they are going to start moving teams because of how exciting their city is, I would think Green Bay would be the first to move. Ever been to Buffalo? What can't Mcgahee do here that he is going to do in Baltimore? What is helooking for, more women with which to have kids he has to be sued to pay for?

Try to resign Thomas, bring in a free agent to share the load.. Shouldnt be all that tough to replace the lifetime mark of 3.9 ypc that Mcgahee has.

I'm with jlbsquared totally on this one. Maybe he wants to go to somewhere like Miami and 'Da U (facetiously mimicking that annoying Univ. of Miami thing) where he went to college and impregnate 10 more women.

Again, RBs have a shelf life of 3-4 years anymore and he's about there already...

exactly - and with this knee and the $$ demands/threat to hold out, this was a good deal.

Well I think McGahee is a little bit of an upgrade over Lewis if he stays healthy. I never really new McGahhe had a bunch of paternity suits against him, how many are you guys talking?

I read Dillon is on his way to Buffalo for a visit?
