<< <i>In fact, it was once believed that the David Lynch autograph did not exist. It does! >>
Well what do you know, it does exist!
That's one sloppy auto
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
<< <i> It is a crucial card not only for your Twin Peaks set, but for any true autograph collection.
Edited to add: >>
Why the laughter?
David Lynch has a very loyal following, and many consider Twin Peaks to be one of the most original television shows of all time. I'm not sure, but the Twin Peaks autographed cards must have been some of the very first of their kind.
I won this postcard a few weeks ago, and it's one of the highlights of my collectionl
When I saw the title of the thread I thought we were going to post our lotto winning dreams: retire, play golf, drive a Porsche, buy lots of baseball cards, etc.... Instead it's a post about autographs for someone that I have never heard of! Darn it. If I win the lottery I will NOT buy any of those autographed cards shown.
<< <i>AJW, nice find. How many were made and how much do those go for? I would absolutely be interested in picking one or two up.
Thanks for sharing.

These autographed cards are *very* tough. I opened about a dozen sets myself, and I've never found one. There is a rumor that they never actually made their way into the factory sets, and may have been back-doored by an employee. Didn't Star Pics go out of business? I wonder if that was happening as they were producing these sets. If so, that may lend some credibility to the back door theory.
The prices listed may seem high, but these cards go for shockingly high prices when listed as traditional auctions. A seller had a nearly full run several months ago, and every one of my snipes was blown away long before the final seconds.
I'd *love* a Lynch auto from this set, but I'll ever spend the cash necessary. The television show was simply amazing, and is still cited as one of the most influential in the medium's history. Lynch is a genius, plain and simple.
FYI, get your coffee and donuts now, as the Twin Peaks second season DVD set is coming out in a few weeks.

<< <i>Did the dancing midget sign a card also? >>
I don't know, but that'd be *awesome*!
(I do know The Log Lady signed!)
If anyone's curious, here's a link to a bunch of auctions. The seller's got nearly a full set of autos, and I'm very jealous!
plus i was a young teenager and i had the hots for sherilynn finn because i saw her in playboy..
<< <i>hEY ! I wouldnt mind having that Piper Laurie, I love him on House. >>

What do they go for? Are they listed in seller's stores? Should I just search for David Lynch Star Pics? Thanks
Arthur
Again, I'd *love* the Lynch card, but three grand is a bit out of my range...
