I thought the Tiffany sets were made in Tibet?

What I can tell you is that they are thicker stock and the cardboard is white stock. I dont know anything about where they were printed. Would those possibly be those mini UK sets?
  • the set is unopened.....i am sitting here...not opening it....lol...i was hoping i could tell before i open it.....not a big deal really.....but i would like to know if possible....

Yes, the Tiffany sets were made in Ireland.

  • were the regular sets also made in ireland....or just the tiffany sets.....?

Just the Tiffany. I think the print run is less than 5000 for your set. Unfortunately Bagwell, Irod (Ivan Rodriguez) and Lugo (Luis Gonzalez) have all lost steam over the past 5 years. Still a decent set, but 5 years ago it was worth about 4 times as much.

No problem. For what it's worth, a sealed set is worth around $100-125. You're not going to do much better than that unless the Bagwell or Irod are 10s. I'd keep it sealed. Not many of these unsealed around these days.

Sorry, I may be wrong. I found other Traded sets that say they were printed in Ireland. The Tiffany Traded sets have a much fancier box and were distributed with collophane wrapping that says Topps on it. A 1991 Tiffany Traded Set will be in a blue box like the on in this auction. Sorry for the misinformation.
