It's pretty obvious that Kobe is a standout guy, not a thug, and that he is just being persecuted by the NBA. As we all know, the NBA is very comfortable living with its prejudices.

I wouldn't go as for as a standup guy...remember a few summers ago and this is the 2nd incident in the last month or so

that must have sucked for all those fans in milwaukee that paid for the one time a year that the lakers show up to have him out.

i emailed the nba yesterday off their website, saying wouldnt it make sense for a one game suspension that a player sits out a home game not a once a year road game??

i wonder if they will email me back or not.

i know he could be injured but no one has control over that.
