value of Pacers signed basketball

Please accept my apologies for ignorance, I'm not much of a collector. But ... I received a basketball signed by the 1975-76 Indiana Pacers, including the following players.

Bob “Slick” Leonard (Coach)
Jerry Oliver
Don Buse
Billy Keller
Nate Barnett
Mike Flynn
Bob Netolicky
Billy Knight
Len Elmore
Dan Roundfield

This was the final season of the ABA. Got it from the original owner, who received it directly from the team.

I'm trying to trade it, but people keep asking me what it's worth. I don't have the slightest idea. Can anyone shed some light on this?

If you're interested in how I got it or want to know more about the ball, you can visit my web site to find out more.

Chris Moneymaker won the World Series of Poker with a $40 satellite entry. That's nothing compared to sixty cents.

I'll trade you $10k for it.......

Sorry, I thought that was funny. No idea what it's worth but I'd guess in the $100-$150 range if you find the right Pacers fan.

As a side note, poker is my profession and I played in many WSOP events the past few years. Not sure I'm going this year but if I do I'll keep an eye out for you. I know your quest is for the Main Event, but if you fall short there are several $1k-5k events that you can enter. Good luck in your quest.

  • I will give you .60 for it.

CDs won a bracelet yet? What is your best finish in a 10K?

No bracelets but I've made a few final tables in $1000-1500 events. I've only played two $10k events (won satellite for one, bought into the other) and didn't place in either. Up until last year, I was primarily cash games, but got the tournament bug recently. In fact, I'm on my way to Atlantic City tomorrow to play in a few WSOP Circuit events. I'm pretty sure I'm going to win every tourney I play for the rest of my life so I'm not too worried.

  • That's cool. Decent money in the mid level tourneys. I live in LA so I it is non-stop here.

Only played one 10K, made it to day 3, did not cash, got unlucky, we were 6 handed and the next table to break when I picked up QQ under the gun, it was 1000/2000, I had 57K, popped it to 8K, Can Kim Hua re-pops from the button to 20k, I pushed and he had AA. He had me covered by 3K, had just doubled up and was constantly putting it all in the middle on marginal hands like KQ, A10, etc., figured I had a race or had him dominated. Bad timing.

  • Thanks for your help Lee ... hopefully I'll find the right Pacers fan ... and ideally one who is willing to trade me something really cool in return!
