The best Lew Alcindor Rookie PSA 1 you will ever see

Alcindor Rookie

I still can't see why this is a PSA 1. Can somebody explain this to me? Nothing of the card is missing. No paper loss etc.. No creases, wrinkles etc..
Yes the back is stained but to downgrade to a PSA 1 ??? I've seen 1950's cards with worse stains on the back get the ST qualifier.
Any help or comments is appreciated.
Thanks Steve

Think your answer is in the auction description:

"Obviously the paper turned brown from the heat and you can feel the wax on the back."

There are burn marks and wax residue on the card, which I would assume qualifies as a 1.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

<< <i>Well here is the story on this card, Why a PSA 1 is still beyond my belief. We had a power outage and the wife put some candles around the house so the kids and her self could see.

Well you guessed it. Somebody knocked over the candle and the wax went over a few cards including this one. >>
