i would not grade any of these in the scans.

the set can be picked up rather inexpensively on the bay.

    Thanks,

  • sets book at $50 with the stickers.....BUT can be had on Ebay for a fraction of that!! Sets around here in MA sell for $15-$20 each.

NOW..as for grading....even though it's a cheaper set, there still are a few people who are working on sets. ONLY grade them if they are dead nuts centered 50-50 though!! and watch for the red bleed through on the edges.

    I agree....from your scan...I wouldn't grade any of the cards there either....sorry!!

    Maybe try a black background?
  • aren't these all pretty common, and probably already graded (what do they go for if PSA 9/10)
  • commons in 9 sell for not more than $4-$5 each..so pretty much a loss....10's can bring anywhere from $10- $75 each...depending on who's buying at the time....most will generally sell for $15- $35 each.

89 Fleer is a common issue....but plagued with off centering....red bleed through from the reverse of the card..and the red back can get very chippy depending on how sharp they were cut from the factory.

Putting together a truly MINT set isn't as easy as one would think. I opened 2 rack cases and graded only 140 cards. Of which about 30 were 10's. The rest all recieved 9's.

All in all....after buying..grading and reselling....I MAY have made $250...but still have 5-6 NM-MT sets ( Mint quality..if not for centering)....and a box of extras as fillers.
