great idea 1952 topps pack break

I will buy the pack of 1952 topps from BBCEX, no scam here where else would I get the damn pack
I will video clip the break. All cards will then be sent to psa for grading
any "profits" will be spilt among the 50 participants!

did you work the numbers to figure out the possibility of actually turning a profit on this? i dont think the numbers work. i have been thinking about buying the 2 packs (i even mentioned it to steve at the reading show) but i think its too much of a long shot to make money on it. this is especially true since the series is unknown.

Is there absolutely no way to determine the series?

Is there any way to eliminate the chance that the
subject packs are from any given series?

the only way to tell which series a pack is from and this is to have an unopened box and open a pack from there. the rest are the same. but since there are no unopened boxes left in existance, there is no way of telling. i understand that the 1 cent packs are see thru but since there is only one card in those packs, you already know who you are getting so its basically a novelty.

the best move seems to be to keep it sealed. after all, even though the pack is graded psa 6, that doesnt really tell me too much as to what the cards will grade out at. ending up with 6 commons graded psa 6 which will net you back less than $240, is a pretty scary reality.
