What do you do with a madman bidding up your set?

I guess it happens to everyone. You are slowly building a set in a condition that you can afford. You have competition but they know the lay of the land as well. Once in a while a team collector or player collector will bid insane prices but pretty much things are intact. If you already own the card, you don't put in a bid just to raise prices.
Along comes a lunatic when it comes to bidding. He has no regard for pops on his bidding. Prices go up 50%-100%. He buys cards that he won the prior week in the same condition. He hasn't started a registry, but he does have an EBAY store where much of his overpriced merchandise is ending up.
Fortunately I collect more than one set and in the past these guys have burned themselves out, but until that happens it sucks. Up to this point he doesn't snipe.
There is nothing anyone here can do, but thanks for listening to my depressing tale.

It's Favre bidding you up on the cards. He knows you hate him.
I was winning them for months at anywhere between $4.99 - $16.99.
I hope he disappears as well

Patience. On eBay, one person cannot usually ever corner the market on a particular set in the long term. Your time will come!
If somebody is stalking you personally, just get a new buying-ID.
That's a good point. I never thought of that. Things will even and he will be stuck with Randy Moss as a teammate
It is not faotw29. The guy has a great feedback on thousands of purchases so he is probably a decent guy just trying to make a living and I don't want to call him out on a public board just because he has more money to blow than I do.
He seems to bid the same on every card so yesterday I bid 50 cents less and he overpaid on everything.
