    Dave-
I spoke with him at the National last summer, he's still around. His response time has been noted on many threads here, so your experience is not unusual.

it is most definitely a ca "thing,"
caused in part by the hyper-density of living conditions, and prolonged exposure to carbon monoxide (due to ungodly protracted commutes),
which are exacerbated by earthquakes, psychopaths, cost of living & the hare krishnas...

what is ultimately notable is that this all occurs everywhere within the state!
well... except maybe, along the santa ana/tustin/"newport beach" border!
which, i have heard rumored, is, in reality, the center of the spritual universe!

    wow... trippy!
    carry on, dude

I'm always amazed when I see threads like this, about guys who have businesses selling sports cards. Is it that hard, really? List the card on Ebay or your website, ship the items out promptly when someone buys them, and answer your email and phone consistently. Again, is this so hard to do? I read about Block all the time, and Andy Madec as another example, and it seems like customers are an inconvenience to them.

I just don't get it - in my business, if you acted that way, you'd be out of business before you know it.

I hounded him for a week before finally giving up, the guy would NOT return messages or e-mails and Im talking about a $3000 card. I just saw an auction with a card I really want but wont even bother bidding on it because its from him.

I hear ya perk. There is a card that will go for about 500 that I would like to have, but I read too many bad things.
