What's the longest you've had to wait to have a sub logged in?

My last two subs have taken what I consider way too long to get logged in! One took 2 weeks and the one that arrived last Monday is still not logged in! How about the rest of you?

mine dont take long to log in. i dont check to see when they got by the PO though. i send mine nearly always registered and they seem to be logged in a week after mailing them. for example i just sent a package with 4 subs on 2/28. one was logged in yesterday. it happened to be the one on the bottom of the box. i assume the others have been enter but i havent checked the subs to see if they have. the one logged in was for the patch special. i have 2 $13/5day specials and one ticket special in that box as well.

Wow. several weeks for the 5 day special!! Did you get a refund?? Isnt it guaranteed 5 days? What happend?
  • I don't track it except that I monitor when the cards arrive at PSA. After that, I don't care how long it takes but it has never been more than 2 or 3 weeks.

My current sub - arrived 01/05. I forgot to sign the form, so after the correction, it wasn't logged until 01/17 ... still no grades. It all modern football.

I sent in an order that was received by PSA on 1/22 and they logged it in pretty quickly on 2/22/2007. They are doing a great job!!!!

Never more than 2 days, but I always make sure to :

    Send via USPS Registered mail.
Clearly mark the outside of the package as to the type of submission.
Triple check to make sure all the forms are completely and accurately filled out.
Religiously follow the packing instructions as outlined on the submission instructions pages.

It's all a big pain in the ass, but it sure beats the heck out of having to wait.

Also, I never send in odd ball stuff, only mainstream cards, and I think that speeds things up as well ...

Following these steps are definately a key in getting this entered in quicker, however there is NO explaination for a delay of over a week. None what so ever. Why a company would delay a customers order is unexplainable. If the order has a problem, resolve it now. Don't enter in any more orders until that one is done. PSA has been the very best in marketing out of all the grading services. I just don't think they care anymore about pleasing the customer and doing the RIGHT thing.

Shane, I understand your point, but I respectfully disagree.

If I've spent my time to jump through a series of hoops to make certain
that my order is submitted correctly then why should my order be held up while problem orders are resolved?

Not what I would call fair ...

    Wolfie-

I hate that every time I submit any oddballs (a common occurence for any player collector) that my orders immediately seem to be shifted to the 'problem' category, no matter how I package and ship my item. This, combined with the fact that I have had at least one mechanical error on *every* invoice I sent in during 2006 convinces me that customer service and accuracy is not the priority at PSA that it once was.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
  • The five weeks i waited doesn't count towards the 5days. Your 5 days don't start till they log it in. Trust me i argued this one with no luck. Basically if they are backed up with orders there's nothing they can do. I had my package marked 5 day right on it but somehow got into the other special with no guarantee.

Hmm, so if mine was logged in on the 2nd does that mean I should have my grades by thursday?
  • 16 Days no contact finally had to call for the third time and get a minor item corrected. Still waiting on the sub. Jan 17th finally checked in. Going on two months image

That is totally uncalled for, I don't care how backed up they were - especially since you were basically paying for a quick return.

My December sub just popped last night. Mostly 84 T's with some 83 T's and one very special 82 T that has been very hard to bribe (I mean buy) for and some spectacular Ted Williams Locklears. Had 13 10's , 20 9's , 5-8's and 1 turd ( 5) that will look great in my 84 graveyard set. Now need to get ready for the March special which should pop by labor day. Thank GOD for Cosetta and Gayle, otherwise life would not be good.
