Can someone provide some help on the 1993 Finest set?

Hi everyone,

Recently bought a complete non-refractor 1993 Finest set on eBay from a very reputable seller. All of the cards were nice and it brought back many memories. However, the complete set was not to be. A common card, Barry Larkin AS (#114) was missing. The seller is looking for another, but wondering if someone had an extra laying around. It retails for about $2.00 in Beckett. Let me know.

check with jmbkb4. he must have tens of thousands of the regular cards with the number of the refractors he has. especially since they were only seeded 1 in a box.

Sorry, I do not have an extra Larkin. I do have a few other players in the regular finest version. Please let me know if you need any others. If you need 'em, and I've got 'em, they're yours FREE.

I could've sworn they were seeded 1:18 packs, with 24 packs in a carton. I remember reading in the January 1994 issue of Beckett about that, saying "you'll usually get one per carton although a few cartons contain two." This of course would support the earlier theory. Is there anyway to prove it?

Hmmm, it looks more like a 24 pack carton from the shape of it, perhaps they did six stacks of three packs each inside, or vice versa?

You are probably referring to the refractors. I'll post this message in the trade, buy and sell forum and see if I get something.

box = 1993 Finest, cereal
