Topps Chrome Football SE RC's

I was checking out online some cards from topps chrome 2006....and i saw that there are 2 version of a RC...the Special Edition and the non-special edition. What does the SE mean? any difference in value?

    Special Edition will actually say that in silver on the front of the card. Not much difference in price...SE's may go for 20% more

    were they only available in retail?? Were they placed in with the regular hobby boxes? Anyone know?

    They were in hobby boxes I know for sure, I can't remember but I think you got 4 per box.

    Bought some retail blasters that included the SE RCs. Have not ripped any hobby.

    BTW - I think that all the refractor RCs are SE. Could be wrong on that but it's all I've seen.

    I found some odds.....this is for hobby only.

    Special Edition RC: 1:6
    Special Edition RC refractor: 1:12
    Black Border Special Edition RC Refractor: 1:266

    Beckett says regular RCs 1:2.
