Spring Break Dig.

Ok, well my dad, grandpa and I decided to go out to Arizona and prospect/nugget-hunting for a week. We will be in southern Aizona and were wondering if anyone might know any good areas to dig. We are planning most of our time on BLM land if possible, camping as we go. Any info or suggestions/ghost town recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks

    I don't know how far South you're planning on, but about 45 miles or so Northwest of Phoenix there's a town called Stanton where BIG gold nuggets have, and still are being found. You can stop in at the Weaver Mining District office just outside of Congress and purchase a 1 year membership for $25.00. It gives you access to over a thousand acres of good gold country.
