I'm not jumping on at all, just realizing how Far reaching things like this recent $%^&#@*&?? can be...And because my thoughts are everywhere, being snowed/Iced in for the passed 4 days may not help 
Whew..Our C/U community has been rocked, actually I'll bet collecting as a whole has been riddled with questions & doubt for many. Some probably had their various suspicions further vindicated(Good & Bad). It's almost like the jokes flying around about athlete's and their sigs..just make it out to "Highest Ebay Bidder." Have trust, get burnt or at least get taken the scenic route.

and answers due to the vast knowledge and willingness to share from Pre-war through modern, raw through graded all with very little belittling(?sp ?usage..lol) Stone,Basilone,onlyanumber,envoy98....Darn, Don't even want to start a list as there's soooo many who share their research & time. That will not change, I have the utmost faith in the core group here!
One place this hit me, is something that I've been associated with for awhile, Donations TO the children, they are an awesome thing.
I have never solicitated cards due to my conscious, and horror stories IE: Various reasons.. incase all aren't given away in person, sometimes accounting for cards is hard once they're handed off at a front counter. Plus they are easy/cheap enough to locate.
Anyway, We've always given to the grade school teachers, and trick treaters, but my children are many years removed from those "wonder years"
My wife has been kind enough to work with & give away many packages in our area(she's good at judging character, making sure cards actually get to children, plus her smile lights up a room. Me at 6'5" 250 well I get a different reaction
My daughter in the Grand Rapids area medical profession has started using cards to "Break the ice" it's surprising how appreciated they are, and how fast they create a smile, trust and chat. No BV's, condition or brands just a sport & players picture. Funny how these cards can have such a vast/different meaning.
So good does happen.
Another, are the paying it forward, Holliday type events that occur here with frequency.
There's something about getting that Ebay bubble mailer, but when one arrives out of the clear blue from a fellow collector..well it's hard to describe.
Ok, I'm done rambling..just wanted to offer a newbies viewpoint, perspective, thoughts & gratitude.
I hope all involved get some satisfaction. bullshit
