I ADMIT IT-I BELIEVE THIS WAS MY DOINGS

i thought fox news, msnbc and cnn devoted a lot of coverage to anna-nicole smith. that was nothing compared to the excitement that has happened on this board in the last 24 hours.

anyway i believe i am partially responsible for this one. i have bought a lot of cards from 4SC and all of their aliases. after six cards i think shipping was 25 cents each. so buying 40 cards at a clip from one of their IDS really cuts down on postage and i took advantage of this. trying to fill the late 70's sets are a daunting task in terms of volume and buying a card for $6 and paying $3 or $4 for postage gets expensive so when i bought from them i did the warehouse store buying procedure--i didn't shop there often but when i did it was a lot of bidding in a week. i guess they were paying more in postage than they liked.

today i saw they raised their rates to what DSLsports charges on one, two or three cards and while DSL maxes out at $8, 4SC now charges a quarter a card after that.

while i didn't reseal a pack or buy an empty box i apologize to all who have to pay more when shopping with these sellers.

p.s. if i glued a wrapper onto the brass bar at our house i would catch an earful.

REMEMBER IF YOU BELIEVE IT, THEN IT IS NOT A LIE.

  • I've done the same thing with them. Sucks they raised their rates - I thought they were already a little high.

I don't mind paying their extra shipping costs, because I am very thankful for what Four Sharp Corners has done for my collection. I will buy from them for as long as they sell...

I've bought alot from 4sc and try to buy in bulk when I can. Who ever runs 4scbaseball has screwed up my order on 3 different occasions. I've slowed down a bit as the service has changed in the last few months. Orders are getting to my home in about 10-12 days. They used to do much better.

Mr Czar sir, you beat me out on that 66 Colbert card. If you ever want to sell it , PLEASE keep me in mind. If you ever want to donate it to charity, I can form a charity in your honor. I really thought I had a great chance on that card but I under-estimated what it was going to go for. Still its a beatiful card and that's the type of cards I can see you like. I've read many of your post here and I appreciate what you add to the forum. Still if you ever decide.......Sonny

Previously, 6 cards were $8.50 and everything after that was a quarter. Now, the first 5 cards come to $8.50 and everything after that is a quarter. If you're buying a lot of cards from them, it's not much of a difference.

BTW, they don't lose money on shipping - you can fit 3 boxes of 25 standard-sized PSA slabs in a flat rate Priority Mail box.

They package well; they ship quickly; they have a wide inventory and fair prices (especially if you're willing to wait out a card that no one else is jumping on). I'm one of many who buy more from them than from any other ebay dealer.

    mr. calaban,
thank you for the kind words. i know i have annoyed my fair share of board members as well.

do you have pm set up. there have been very few high grade 1966 cards around this year. i will be holding on to that one but i have a psa 6 if you are interested. do you collect the set?

Amen to that. I just paid for 6 more cards today from them. I buy from 4SC and 4SC2 on a very regular basis and appreciate what they do as well.

I buy from 4sc all the time. I think it is cheaper to let them do the submitting and complete your set buy buying from them. I am starting to think that I am bidding against you all for my 78 and 80 sets. Looks like I am going to have to raise my ante or maybe not if you all are going somewhere elseimage
  • funny....everyone kisses 4SC backside.....BUT with all the events that have transpired here in the last 24 hours....

everyone seems to overlook the fact that it was one of there ID's that sell multiple lots of wax wrappers!!

To me....even putting the things out for sale shows as much character as those who buy them!!!

As for buying up lots on Ebay....heck yah....bring the stuff on....gotta fill the holes and have other trade bait or singles to sell!!

    Just my 2 cents
