Does LeBron suck b/c he can never hit a clutch shot?

Anyone see the game last night against the Mavs? Sure he scored 39 points, but missed 2 free throws and 2 open look 3's in the last 15 seconds to the game.

He hasn't been himself this year. I've heard rumors that he's trying to get his coach fired and he's upset they still haven't found a nice complement for him on the team...Jordan needed Pippen to finally start winning, we'll see if the same holds true for James...

Is Cindy Crawford ugly because she has that mole on her cheek?

The Chosen one has had some confidence issues at the line this year and has missed quite a few free throws. And despite his undeniable Physical skills and overall game he has fallen in love with the long fadeaways especially in crucial moments of the 4th quarter primarily because of his free throw problems. In my opinion if he does not take it to the hole like he used to and either score or get fouled and knock down free throws the Cavs are headed no where.
  • No the mole completes her look, LeBron's crutch makes him look worse
  • He ain't no Jordan

"The answer was in the Patriots eyes. Gone were the swagger and c0ck sure smirks, replaced by downcast eyes and heads in hands. For his poise and leadership Eli Manning was named the game's MVP. The 2007 Giants were never perfect nor meant to be. They were fighters, scrappers....now they could be called something else, World Champions."
  • I think we all know he isn't Jordan, but for someone with all that hype coming out of high school he has't done too bad.

I was a naysayer at first, but you have to admit that LeBron's skills are awesome. Any player who can run like him, cut through the paint and almost score at will without being stopped is ridiculous. Jordan had same skills early in his career, and later better developed his outside game on offense. LeBron needs to "go there" to be at a same level with MJ, and can. IMO.

I live near Cleveland so I'm a bit of a Lebron fan. One thing for sure, the Cavs better kiss his ass. There are many big market teams that will throw sick money at him to take him out of Cleveland. The Cavs have sucked for so long, a guy like Lebron is only going to take it so long. Could you imagine if he went to the Knicks? He would be the new king of NYC and they'd pay him with huge money, a good supporting cast, and deep runs into the playoffs every year. I'm surprised he made it this long with the Cavs.

Lebron is a wonder, though how good he is 15 years from now and how many rings he has is unknown.

What would be fun would have been to see Lebron in his first year as a pro out of high school play against Moses Malone in 1974-75 during Moses' first year as a pro out of high school.

I wonder if Lebron could have scored 35 POINTS and had 23 REBOUNDS during a little more than 24 minutes of floor time as Moses did when I saw him during Xmas 1974 (see my post about Moses's performance that day for details).

Lebron may be great, Kobe may be the man and MJ may be the best of all time but the best performance I ever saw from a first year pro was Moses and his 35 points and 23 rebounds in a little over 24 minutes of playing time. The only other player who I suspect ever did something like that is Wilt.
  • Is anyone forgetting last year's playoffs?

He hit game winning shots in at least 2 games...quelling that 'not clutch' talk for at least a few months.

He's got phenominal talent but I think his confidence and ego need to be tampered prior to taking the next step.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
  • Lebron lit up the best team in league this year for 39 and people are complaining about missing some late shots?

    Get a life, people.
  • In that same game he went for 39 he also missed 2 free throws and 2 open look 3's in the last 15 seconds and missed every shot. That single game prompted my thread
