does anyone have mlb 2k7?

i find myself needing my baseball fix earlier and earlier every year. the graphics are really good on the next-gen systems. you can use the six-axis as a bat.

in fact it's so realistic, i'm only 10 days into the season, and carl pavano and jd drew are already on the DL!

    I got it for xbox 360... it is awesome. my only negative thought is how many times can you rip off a home run? i played 7 games and every single game the guys jump over the fence to rob the homer.

    by the way whats up brian.. i post under this name now most of the time instead of kuhlmann..

    hey chris, using the six-axis, i look like preston wilson at the plate (about 6 k's per hr) since the harder you swing the controller, the more prone to homer/strike out you are. i haven't been robbed of a homer yet, but i'm not playing on a difficult setting.

    you on 360 also or ps3 or regxbox? i use classic control. dont like the swing stick. i did k 10 in one game with a pitcher i created lol.. hoping to get those k's up to 16 a game.

    the ps3, the six-axis is the motion sensor within the controller similar to the wii.

    once i get 2 strikes on a hitter, i usually shake-off the "payoff pitch". i find the cpu usually will chase a high changeup with 2 strikes, but make sure you get it letter high.

    Ah, if it was so realistic - Pavano would have opened the season on the DL.

    But, I am glad to hear its good - I just bought it tonight for 360. Hope to play it a bit over the weekend.

    This game sounds good actually, I have not bought a baseball game in years due to all my guys in my lineup hitting over .300, very unrealistic. The medium level gets to easy and the all-star level is to difficult.

    It is, but I'd rent it first if I were you. They really don't put much time into their ps2 and xbox games nowadays - the last few 2K games were crap on the xbox and ps2. I think sony's baseball game, "the show" is considered better.

    I was playing as the Yankees today and with 2 outs and a runner on 2nd, the CPU intentionally walked Abreu to pitch to A-Rod image Of course I promptly grounded out to the SS... This game is so real!
