What hats will these future Hall of Famers tip?

I love the discussions about what current players will get in, but what about what hat they will take into the Hall with them? I believe the Hall makes this choice, but not 100% sure

Manny - Indians or Red Sox
Pedro - Expos, Red Sox Mets
R Johnson - Mariners, Diamondbacks, Yankees
Thome - Indians, Phillies, White Sox
Bonds - Pirates or Giants
McGwire - A's or Cardinals
Griffey - Reds or Mariners


I know I missed some, but you get the idea

    McGwire and Bonds might be dead and buried and unable to tip their hats...maybe they will be inaugurated with syringes

    McGwire might get in IF he comes clean and apologizes and owns up.

    Bonds, if he gets convicted or arrested, never gets in.

    I agree, Thome will get in...no chance that Manny dons an Indians cap, eh? B/c he won a World Series w/ the Red Sox...

    The Hall makes the choice. The reason they do this is that it takes the incentive away for a player to make a "deal" with one of the clubs they played for to wear their particular hat for financial gain. Not that he is going to make it, but I read once that Steve Garvey would get like $50k from the Padres if he went in wearing their hat.

    If you remember in Fred McGriff's contract with the Devil Rays it stated if he gets elected to the Hall he has to wear their cap. Strange since it's the HOF's choice

    ...and Clemens threw a fit a few years back about going in with a Red Sox cap

    I belive this rule was only instituted only a few years ago

    That's very possible...The HOF took the decision away from the individual players after Dave Winfield made a supposedly million dollar deal with the Padres to go in wearing their cap.
