1999 and 2000 Topps MVP Promotion Cards

Can someone fill me in on these?
It seems that Topps printed parallel cards for some number of players, each of which had an "MVP Promotion" stamp on it. I think that if your player was named MVP for the week you could redeem your card for a set of all the weekly MVPs. Is that correct? It appears there were only 100 of each redemption card per player. Does anyone know the checklist of the actual MVPs that you'd receive as the redemption? I know that Will Clark had a redemption card, but I don't know if he was ever MVP (and would thus be in the set you received).
Is that correct?
