Rumors - Harrington to be cut from Dolphins to make way for Trent Green who wants out of KC

    Joey Harrington has no bussiness being in the NFL, Trent Green is getting to that point as well IMO

    Sadly enough, I honestly believe being in Detroit killed his career. I've never been much of a Harrington supporter, but he did look like he was going to be very good while playing in his first season. Poise in the pocket, good decisions, confidence in his passes. But the longer he played here, the more those attributes he possessed seemed to dwindle away. The guy had a great attitude here even though the team/organization here screwed him royally. Anybody who has heard the rumors about what happened here to him has to know at least some of it were true. I even heard a radio interview with an unnamed player where the player stated that Mooch tried to sabotage his (Harrington) career because of some falling out they had. Rumors of players intentionally dropping passes doesn't make sense, but if you saw the constant drops that were right in players hands you had to wonder. Bly basically pounded him through the media continually. Millen saying they drafted the wrong guy... It got pretty bad here for Joey. Martz came in and said Harrington was going to be their man, only to sign multiple free agent QB's without even giving Harrington a chance to workout for him. Harrington even offered to take a huge pay cut to stay. They ended up paying McCown something like 3x what Harrington was going to take, and that turned out to be one of the dumbest moves I have ever seen. Yet when all was said and done, he still thanked Detroit for his time here and wished them the best of luck...

    He hasn't had the opportunity to really play with a potent offense yet, but maybe he will one day and become the player many thought he could be. Somebody could get him for a cheap price and maybe he'll turn out to be something worthwhile.

    I do remember that for the past couple of years there were grumblings that KC would try to trade for Harrington just in case anything happened to Green. Perhaps a Harrington for Green move? He's still young and Damon Huard showed last year that it is a good system for almost any QB to step into.

    Also, I don't know that I would say Trent "wants" out of KC but I think last year did a lot to shake his confidence. Having your own fans boo you (which was absolutely ridiculous if you ask me) can't be good for the psyche. I hate to say it but I don't think Trent can recover from last season.

    Joey Harrington is the worst consistent starting QB I've ever seen play. On my NFL Gameday DirectTV package, I'd find myself flipping to Lions games just to see him implode.

    No it'll probably be Huard if Green is shipped out. Carl Peterson has no idea what the term "rebuild" means. He'll keep patching the holes with 30+ yr olds until the day he dies.

    Not a news reporter, I just find stuff in areas I'm interested in and post them in case others find them interesting as well so they
    can comment on it. Its a daily hobby.
