Presidential coins should have been quarters

The only circulating coin that would have made sense for the presidents would have been the quarter. They could have started right after the state quarters. We all see and spend quarters, but not halves and dollars to any extent.

I believe that the whole purpose behind the Presidential Dollar coins is to spark interest in the dollar coin and to get rid of the paper buck. Nothing more and nothing less.

The paper dollar will go away within the next couple of years despite all the grumbling and whining by the coin collecting world.
