Another edge lettering error - equivalent to dropped letter?

Ok, what the heck is this and how did it happen? It is not incuse like the normal lettering.

It's an S, right? I assume one coin was higher than the other when they struck...

It's a backwards "S". That's edge lettering, not two coins.

Or, another coin could have shot out of the machine so fast and slammed against this one with so much force directly on it's "S" in TRUST, that the incused "S" of the "Hammer coin" left this raised "S" mark in the "Anvil coin".

That would take one hell of a lot of force to indent like that. And to that, not flattening out any areas around it.
