My First Ebay Coin Listing - Input Appreciated

Okay, I got bored at work this morning and I decided to try and sell on ebay. I have a lot of Prez dollars I need to take back to the bank, so I listed some of them. After tax season is over I am thinking of listing some better coins, but right now I want to get some experience and learn how to do it. Any feedback, tips, or advice will be greatly appreciated. It's okay to be brutally honest.

I am the one who is bored!
good luck in the future.

I'm hoping to make it up on volume.
Just kidding, your right, I'm trying to just trying to learn what to do.
lot better with a picture. I think you're losing half your market without an image. If I were to buy a raw coin I'd want
to see a picture of what I'm buying in. I realize you have a thousand coins so you can't guarantee which coin you'd be
selling but get a photo on your listing.

Thanks for the input, I don't have a picure yet.
Does anybody know how to get one of those stock pictures from the mint? I tried to take a picture with my digital camera but it turned out really bad.
<< <i>Good luck. This is a kinder gentler place. I almost had me

Use any of these if you like. Nice gouge from the mint on the first one. The Quality Control sucks on these!
I think you might be able to right click a photo and save it to your pc. From there you might be able to use it in your auctions. I wouldn't suggest using other people's photos without their permission. Some people get highly enraged at that. Good luck.
Edit: Do you have a scanner? Sometimes you can adjust the resolution and play with them in photo shop for a decent enough picture.

Very simple with no bells and whistles, good description, I think you will not have any problems selling items as long as you do your future auctions this way. As those movie critic guys would put it,
I added a Photo, which definately makes the listing better.
I figured out how to run a spell check, so the text is better.
I went to the mail room at work and weighed everything; I checked the ebay and paypal fees on the calculator that Coinboy posted. Looks like if all goes well I'll make a profit of about 46 cents per order. I guess I'll need alot of volume.
I ordered bubble mailers.
I am having fun with this, which is what collecting is all about.
So now I just need to wait for some orders.

Why not accept money orders if only to get rid of that glaring PAYPAL account required
Try to enlarge your market.
Just a thought.
Have fun!!!

If I buy 10 sets, that is 20 coins for $22.50 plus $1.85 shipping plus 9 x $1.45 equals $14.90 to ship 20 coins.
Maybe you should set a maximum shipping fee (for multiple ltem auctions), about $7-- Should be able to ship all 100 coins for the amount.
I also think $2.25 is too low a price.

fleeBay fees and possible PayupPal fees are going to cost you!
Losing money is OK if it helps build customer relations. Your feedback is low so it may be a way to increase your feedback number without much expense. Go for it. Bob
Good luck on them.....

I agree, many people do not use PayPal.
