I have a feeling the coin is authentic but beset by myriad problems. It looks to be mildly corroded, for starters. Add a harsh cleaning on top of that, and this is what you get--a coin with no luster, just bright metal on the devices where it was cleaned. It's a bizarre-looking piece, and an unacceptable one.
I think it might be genuine also. But what I find strange...... I can believe the obverse, with it's softness. But then the reverse.... is very sharp. Looks out of place, and makes for a strange mismatched coin.
