Trial begins in Allgood Coin shop murder

Odd, I was called for jury duty but the defense excused me.

Try 'em and fry 'em. Assuming the evidence supports a conviction, of course.

Best of luck in a smooth decision.

  • I jusr read the article, the guy that did the murder and pleaded guilty in 2005, only received 5 years to life? image

Maybe I'm familar with the legal system in Utah, but could he get out after only 5 years? image

I suspect it would be much closer to "life" than "five years".

We were told it was part of a complicated plea deal. We were told that he will never see the light of day.

If the murderer got 5 to life, it ain't likely his accomplice will get even a staple scratch.

This guy is truly evil. He planed it, bought the gun and the disguise, drove him up here and told him to go in "violently". Campbell, who plead out, was just the dumb one following orders. I think you will see this guy get a heavier sentence.
