Ok, I've been looking into this one and I'm still a little stumped.
1867 Shilling, Die #18
Sorry for the bad scan - it makes this coin look much worse than it is in hand.
Anyway, Krause Mishler lists two varieties of this date - high relief and low relief. Since I don't know what that means, except the low relief looks to carry a significant premium, I checked spink. Spink lists that the 3906A has a coin die axis, and 3906 has a medal die axis. This coin has a coin type die alignment.
Can anyone help me out here?

Obverse 4 (high relief): "I" of "VICT" points to a bead.
Obverse 5 (lower relief): "I" of "VICT" points between beads.
It looks like you have Obverse 4.
As for the reverses:
Reverse A - gap between L's in "SHILLING" quite noticeable.
Reverse B - gap between L's in "SHILLING" is closed.
It looks like you have Reverse B. This reverse for 1867 also has a dot between the ribbons as does yours.
Nice piece and scarcer than 4+A.

By the way, the medal alignment information in Spink for 3905 is incorrect. That should also be coin alignment.
Thanks Wybrit! Excellent information.
I considered that the alignment listing was an error, but I didn't have another example to match it against.
