OK, that will be the first thing I do when I receive it. Gotta get all that grime off and make it nice and shiny.

I think that is a really a nice proof. correct me if i am wrong but it doesn't seem proof barber quarters have risen in value as much as other coins in general, could it be a good time to snag one of these?

That was my thinking when I grabbed this Half. Prices are high but no where near all time highs for proofs which in general are very low mintage.

I am still looking for a decent proof Barber quarter as well and hope you are right about the current values.
