So what is the true mintage of the 1836 Reeded Half

The redbook lists 1200 as the mintage on this coin. But I have heard from different dealer sources it is higher.

Anybody know any references that says there are more than 1200 minted? Comments? Care to guess the grade?

    January 2007 PCGS Population Report also shows 1200 minted. I would guess your coin would grade about AU-53.
