It's done after the fact in image editing software like Photoshop. Basically you extend the canvas and paste one image into another.
That's how I do my slab images like the one below. I start with the obverse image (500x500 pixels), extend the canvas 500 pixels to the right and paste the reverse in, then extend the canvas 200 pixels upward and place the slab label image. Then recrop.
Call me blind... Where is the ship on the 1942 Argentina piece? Or has the collection started to expand beyond ships? Or is the ship collection just a bunch of Bullship and you buy whatever catches your eye? And as already said, very nice pics too... Very nice indeed. Rick
