I picked a roll of the new dollar coins. Should I open it or keep it the way it is?

I can not make up my mind.
My mother picked up a roll of 1979D SBA dollars in 1979 and put them away. She gave them to me years later and I did not open them for years. Eventually I could not resist and opened the Susies.
To my suprise the roll of 1979D Susies actually are quite nice in appearance (the matronly, dour Susie notwithstanding). They developed nice blueish grey and gold toning and have nice luster. I suspect that they would look much nicer than the 2007 Presidential dollars in the strike and luster categories.

Keep them and effectively give Uncle an interest free loan.
The Choice is yours.
I say get yer kicks watching the clecks get all stupid cause the ugly things out of the roll are all chopped up and likely to be worth no more than $1.00 through the next century.
I don't know how Denver washie dollars are doing, but the three rolls of Phillie coins I have opened are pretty baggy and unspectacular. From three rolls I pulled perhaps half a dozen coins I could in good conscience call MS63 and two that I would call borderline maybe-on-a-good-day 64. The bulk of the coins are what I would call MS62, with good luster & strike but moderately heavy marks. There is a combination of heavy nicks (a lot like what I saw a bunch of with the peace medal nickels of a few years back) and lighter bag scuffs. In general, they don't look too good. Open them, pick a nice coin or two, and spend the rest ...
