NY International submission results

Well, these were graded timely and the results were posted earlier but I thought I would share... alittle something for different interests. My thoughts are below the grade

My comments- Well, I guess I need help determining what constitutes PL for the 1949 Canadian Dollars. I know the quality for this date is exceptional, so I guess I need to talk a better look at the next PL '49 I see. I expected the grades on the 1950 Dollars- no surprise there. The 1935 Dollar did well as did the 1887 6d which is nice that my view was shared by others. The 1882-H 1/2 is very nice and was graded as expected. The 8R has a nice look to it and a 50 is what I thought was right... I still think it is a variety (T/M) but apparently the graders disagreed.
Some might think the 1920 Franc was not worth slabbing... I really love the look of this one and there is something to be said for artistic merit and doing something to preserve an attractive coin even if it is for one's own enjoyment.

I bought that one raw about 6 months ago. I liked it then and still do. I have another than is in another holder that is not graded as high as this and, of course, it should not be.

Hey, you could have shown them to us at the lunch, because I doubt we'll ever see photos of them...
