A Beautiful Proof Morgan

This appears to be one beautiful coin. At Long Beach, a cameo or higher, I think it was a 65 or 66, don't remember the date went for $45,000. It
wasn't a rare date, but it was awesome looking. This coin has nice toning, is graded a 68, but isn't a cameo. It sure is pretty but I'm
a little short today in the wallet. Maybe tomorrow.

I bet that coin is terribly hazy with only muted shades of lavender and mossy green when the buyer gets it in-hand.

It looks pretty with their images, but after playing with the images I don't think it will look nearly as good in hand. It appears
like it's been photoshopped. If I were to spend that type of money on a proof Morgan it would have to be cameo. I wouldn't
buy that coin sight unseen with their restocking fee.

It sure is attractive. For a '96 proof I was surprised that the strike was seemingly a bit lacking. Then I saw TT describe the strike as sharp and PCGS did grade it 68. So maybe it looks better in hand and the slab is marred a bit (though the stars also were not as sharp as I figured they should be).

But how could that be with the original patination this coin possess??

Hey Brandon, are you eluding to the fact that it just might possibly not be pretty???

I've just seen that type of toning in-hand and it is most usually hazy and dark.
