Here are interpretations from my Japanese girlfriend- note that Japanese often does not translate perfectly:
Starting from top left to right:
1- Americans are so fat and lazy, they hit many home runs to avoid running bases....... Wait, that's not it. It actually says "Run in" meaning run scored. 2- Home Run King Oosh*ta (the guy's name, put an "i" where the asterix is) 3- The third guy is Kawakami 5- Goose prize for best player- apparently they used to give a live goose to the MVP. Wierd. 6- Out 7- Player's name is Miyanaka 8- Batting
Lee
Edit to say "live goose". Also, my girlfriend told me to get a life.
I was told that the live goose was a great prize and honor-food was in very short supply-I believe these cards are from post World War 2-1946,47,48 ect... thanks for the translations are they of any value? I bought them a while back because I liked the graphics Scott

third down on the right : out
last on the right: batting
those were in katakana (japanese alphabet used mostly for foreign words) , the others are in kanji which I don't know.
