I'm surprised there's not much interest in this card.....

ESPN.com is running a special on Asian players in the US, and Masanori Murakami was the first Japanese player to come to the US back in 1964. He pitched 45 games as a reliever, went 5-1 with a 3.43 ERA and 9 saves. There was major drama as his Japanese team wanted him back and the Giants didn't want to let him go. He ended up going back and playing 17 more years in Japan. It took 30 years for another Japanese player to come here. I would think the people dropping coin for Nomo, Ichiro, and Matsui would love to have this card. Guess not.
