reserve is a (MYSTERY!)....jeez!
an auction for this 1990 "no s" lincoln...they've not hit the reserve yet...
so i inquire about the "reserve price"
i'm paraphrasing but his answer was this...
"you'll just have look at what they have been selling for to make your best guess"
so i told him "i'm a sniper type.......would you not like it if i bid and missed your reserve by 10 bucks?...if indeed he wants to sell it?"
i hate "secret reserves"........................................end of rant!

The alternative is to just sit there and bid and bid and bid until you finally hit the reserve. Of course then you're likely to get talked about on this board where someone want's to know if you are a schill bidder or not!
For that particular coin, I'll bet if you dropped a 7 grand bid that you'd hit that reserve. If not, at least you'd know about where it might be. Those bids all show up as Bidder1 thru X so its not like someones gonna know you're bidding on it.
But then, you probably don;t want to play the sellers game which I can understand.
