Frustrating Ebay seller......

I found a seller last week that had a bunch of players I collect on "Buy It Now" auctions for $1, he stated shipping at $3 for first item, $.50 for each additional. I e-mailed and told him I was interested in 80+ of them and since we both knew shipping would be less than $10 (at his rate it would have been over $40) I wouldn't buy if he couldn't give me a bulk shipping price. He responded that he would ship 80 cards for $10, so last night I spend 3 hours clicking his Buy It Now auctions that I wanted, I ended up with 94 when I was finished, this morning I get an invoice for $94 with $43 tacked on for shipping.
Maybe it was just a mistake on his part, but if you have so many auctions listed (he had over 40000) that you can't keep track of everything and answer your e-mails promptly, he should limit the amount of items he has for sale at one time.
By the way, I offered to send him $15 for shipping since I ended up with more than I originally planned on, I guess I'll wait for his response. Nice way to start Monday morning.

When you send an invoice, ebay automatically calculates shipping on all the items being sold. He probably forgot to go in there and change it. I think you're being overly sensitive.

Lee is most likely correct. the ebay checkout system does not have a lot of flexibility, particularly when it comes to shipping and insurance charges. Just remind the buyer and he can take care of it easily.

Or modify it yourself with a pen and send it off. Unless you are using Paypal of course.

communicate wit the seller. I am sure it will be resolved. If not, bump.
