    This poor woman's portrait is always showing her as a stoic older school master looking type of personality. Research on her speaks otherwise. Her personality was jovial and witty and fun loving person. I don't think that medal is at all ugly.

    Actually, it is quite charming. Far better than some scantilly clad hussie dressing up in a bikini in order to shamelessly attract attention to her coin selling business. Susan B Anthony depicts what a woman is really valued for and any thread on her would probably not go "poof" even if I did object to the open exchange of ideas and a little banter going "POOF"

    She has to be 50-60 or so when that image was taken - Around 1870?, I don't think there were many "Hot" women that age back then without the modern conveniences of today. Take a young SBA to a day spa in today's world, and maybe.... just maybe.

    I like the rev of the medal better, but it isn't too bad IMO.
