I've got a rare PRO 10 '89 Fleer Bill Ripken variation with the "F**K FACE" covered with a white scribble, with a "C**K SUCKER" written on top of the white scribble, and a rainbow box over the "C**K SUCKER" that I just got back. Willing to trade for any PSA 2 of any card.

On Ebay , 3 days ago , there was a GEM graded 10 Tony Gwynn 83 topps that had the word PSA in the title line. It was a 1 day listing. I contacted ebay but they choose to look the other way. It sold for $13.50 to a bidder with feedback 2. Boy are they in for a surprize.

I'm still hoping to find the 77 starwars " Yoda with bird in hand " graded GEM 10. I will tell the world I have it and never , never , ever sell because it that special. Screw them 93's, THIS IS THE CARD.

I have kept it a secret for the past few months but I feel this is just the thread to let everyone know that I have been buying up all the 1985 Kiko Garcia variation "booger in nose cards". There were only 726,785,426 made so I am well on my way to cornering the market, I will be famous !

I may have the only Brett Myers beating wife card graded by Bretts own IAAI grading company. (IAAI - I am an idiot). Plus the Bobby Bonds smoking cigarette card....on the way to be graded.

I posted something similar a year or two ago, but for what it's worth....

Bought four different 1979 topps star cards graded GEM 10s off ebay, 3 separate transactions. Averaged out to about 9-10 bucks a card delivered. Cracked out all four cards.......

Sent 3 to PSA, one was perhaps trimmed ( Molitor ) so I merely kept it raw.
one PSA 10, one PSA 9, one PSA 8, seemed a pretty good crossover.

Do you guarantee that they will cross to 10s from Pogo Stick Grading?

Oooh I need that one !! I'll trade you for a GEM slab at home kit. Its not the deluxe model so it only comes with the numbers 1 and 0. Pretty rare as it wasnt offered to dealers in Flint,Michigan. The deluxe was $7 more so I opted for the cheaper model.

For what it's worth, here's my GEM experience.

All GEM cards were graded "GEM 10 Pristine", whatever that means. Cracked and sent to BGS (didn't have a PSA account at the time).

'84 Pawtucket Clemens = ungraded, "Questionable authenticity"
'82 Pawtucket Boggs = ungraded, "Questionable authenticity"
'83 Topps Boggs = trimmed (very obvious, didn't bother to submit)
'85 Topps Tiffany Clemens = BGS 8.5 (hurrah! It's not trimmed or fake!)

Would that be the whole band or just Gene, Paul, Ace, or Peter? image

FYI, I must have caught BGS on a good day 'cause they were very strict in grading the 20-25 cards I sent them. I got killed on centering sub-grades for almost all the cards. One '84 Clemens got a 7 overall which I re-submitted to PSA for an 8, which is what I thought it deserved. Two other '68 Topps Hockey cards came back as trimmed, but these graded fine as a PSA 8 and PSA 7 respectively.
