On another forum a newbie is griping that his dealer refused to accept a 1917 red-brown cent for grading submission to PCGS because it would be body-bagged for being toned?

You'd think he would have asked why the dealer said bodybag.

Worst that can happen is he's out the grading fee.

Frankly, if the "PCGS rep" actually said what was attributed to him, he's a complete friggin' idiot. "PCGS doesn't grade toned coins" ??? WTF!

offical PCGS rep = crapshoot
I went to a couple offical reps myself once and found out all reps are not created equal. Best to try a few different ones before you give up.
