error webbing

sorry but I cannot supply pics of this, as it is not in my possession

A friend of mine had a piece of cent webbing, about 2 inches by 6 inches. However, instead of normal punch holes, every hole is nothing but an incomplete punch, resulting from lack of sufficient pressure. The blanks are still retained within the webbing. The piece is red/brown... and for those of you doubting authenticity, this thing came out of the Art Kagin collection, so at least it is relatively credible.

Any ideas on value? I know it is hard without pics, but a rough estimate

I have no idea, sounds cool though. Fred Weinberg would be a good resource for this type of thing I would think.

Something this esoteric would have to be placed in an auction to determine its value. You can't just look it up in the grey sheet or red book. You could put it on eBay with an extremely high reseve (assuming you weren't interested in selling it) to get some idea of its value.

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.
