Take a shot at a regrade? PR69dcam gold

So with the huge disparity in selling prices, should I re-submit my 20th anniversary 1st strike gold pr69dcam and hope for a pr70dcam? There is a monster difference in the selling price.

Roughly $7k to over $17 k

I think I may have to.

If it comes back, I may presidential review, if it comes back rinse repeat, rinse repeat 3 or 4 times.

What do you think?

look at the coin and decide for yourself. If it is obviously a 69, then don't waste your money. If it is borderline, go for it. --Jerry

I don't think it is worth it. I can often see very minor imperfections when examining PR 69s with my loupe. I don't usually find any when examining 70s. If I were trying to get a 70 I would examine lots of raw coins and buy any that were perfect and try those.

Probably not worth it. Every time I look at a 69 I can usually find the tick mark that kept it from 70. Beware it could be on the rim also.
