does anybody know how pcgs would handle this ?

if they are opening rolls of prez bux in a bulk submission and there are some with no edge lettering would they put it in an error slab or just the regular slab like the regular coins???

They could put the coin in a traditional holder labeled as "Mint Error". (Unlikely IMO)
The coin could be slabbed in the new Tri-View holder with the traditional PCGS "Mint Error" label. (Most likely IMO)
If submitted in a bulk order for "First Day of Issue" holdering, they may be placed in the Tri-View holder with the FDI label and still be noted as mint errors. (Very unlkely, but such slabs could very well sell for big $$ on the secondary market)
Also, if the error coin was in an OBW roll, the mint mark could be determined so will it be included on the label? Unfortunately I have no idea what PCGS will do, but I am very curious to find out.

You would think that, but in recent events PCGS has given it to the little man and sent the coin back in a BB... (The coin in question was a mint struck through)
I had asked a question something like this about the "Sealed" ASE 20th anniversary sets and got a MAJOR flaming from a few forum folks (That seemed to be kissing someones ASS).
Oh well, like the lolly pop, we'll never know how many licks it takes!

i sent this one in on one of my first submissions under modern without any special requests(sent it as a regular sac but knew it wasn`t a regular sac) and this is how they labeled it.

Ass kisser... lol, just kidding, I has a wise ass remark about dice and a magic 8 ball in reguards to the decision making process up there but figured I would get banned if I said it so I better keep it to myself.
Given that, any plain edge coins would have been located and reported.
If unopened rolls were submitted and a plain edge coin were located by PCGS, they would just slab it as either BU or for whatever it its numerical grade was.

<< <i>Well good luck. Did you specify a minimum grade or are you just going for broke? >>
going for broke, the first day issue will make up for a lower grade.
