If anyone has Papal Coins by Allan Berman, I would appreciate your opinion of the book. Are there any good books on classical darkside of Italy?

Nice guilio. These are usually only encountered in VF or lower (at least by me) so very nice pickup.

The Berman book is a basic, gotta have if you're interested at all in coins of this period. Its well organized, easy to use and has a great deal of info about the series. THE definitive catelogue is Muntoni which is long out of print and very expensive.

I agree with STLNATS that the Berman is a great reference for these coins, basically a must buy if you're interested in them.
