A Raw Transylvania Thaler

I am going to submit this coin to PCGS.

Anyone care to guess what they will grade it?

If it doesn't get BBed, I say AU50.

From the picture does it look like it can be body bagged? If so why?

It looks as if there's a been a light cleaning.
    Prost!

Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

Possible, but coin is better in hand with light steel gray toning.

Great taler. I agree that it probably had a light cleaning, but PCGS might see it as market acceptible. It is tough to tell from the pictures. If it goes, I will guess MS-61 (of course to be taken with a grain of salt in light of my grossly wrong grade guesses in other posts).

I'll also bet on 50, but I'll concede that it would grade higher if it were a Bust Dollar.

As for the bodybag, it seems unlikely based on the picture.

It's got a certain drool factor.

    Looks AU to me, too.

It will probably end up in a body bag for the two puncture marks in the victim's throat.
