Good read on Griffey, Jr.

Griffey

Does a real good job of following the changes of Bonds and Griffey as people and athletes.

The only thing I would question would be the validity of Bonds comments to Jr. after the 98 season. Not sure who the source is on that remark.

with the recent hate in bonds you would think more folks would collect the kid.....doesnt look like that will ever be the case. I just hope he gets to 600 homers so that he can seperate himself into that "new" landmark.

It looks like that writer assumes an awful lot with no proof to back up his claims. We all know he's right but when writing an article, he should stick to the facts.

I guess the reason you don't see people collecting Griffey as much is because I guess he just got hurt one too many times.
